I made my mind up back in Chelsea, when I go, I'm going like Elsie.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I’ve recently had the realization that I was born out of sin. I was conceived before marriage, but born after marriage…and some interpretations of the Bible would consider me a bastard child. So I’ve been really conflicted, because I read in the Bible that if I’m a bastard child, I can’t enter the kingdom of the Lord. So I was talking to a friend (she’s kind of in the same situation as me), and after she spoke with her Bible study leader we learned that we can’t really take a lot of the law stuff (which is what this issue is) from the Old Testament (where I was reading) to heart because a lot of stuff that happened in the New Testament changed those laws.
So that got me thinking, what about homosexuality?
Christians claim it is a sin, but the only evidence anyone quotes comes from the Old Testament. Does the New Testament change that as well? Just a thought.
We can’t change things that are beyond our control. I can’t change the fact that I was conceived out of wedlock, and people can’t change who they love.
